My seat feels like it has broken on the right side of the seat. Is this fixable or am l going tohave to buy a whole new seat and how much would this cost?? Anyone ever have this problem? ( and yes now l feel like it is time to shed a few pounds LOL!)

You should call your local chevy dealers service dept.Tell them about your seat problem and have them check for a factory bulletin or recall on your seat problem.You do not need to replace your seat.The chevy service dept can repair any problem your seat has.They will also give you a estimate for the repair.This problem could be very simple to fix.Sometimes the seat comes loose from the seat track and only the bolts need tightened.Best of luck.

Take ur car to an automotive trim shop. They r cheaper than the dealer & more experienced at seat repairs. Chances r the dealer will send ur car there anyway & mark up the labour costs. That is a favourite dealer ploy.
And trim shops can get the proper parts to fix ur car seat too. The dealers hate repairing components. They would rather sell u new parts instead.
And if it is just a loose screw the trim shop will probably tighten it at no charge. Dealers r rarely that generous. Book rate to just inspect the seat could cost u an hours labour.
