l have heard figures ranging from $15 -$75 per hour.What does a union member with 10 years experience working on the assembly line receive for 40 hour week? What does that translate to for an annual salary?

l just seen this on the news the other day. They said the average union auto worker makes around $74 an hour.

the cheapest l found was 47,000 year not including benifits and discounts, and that was for a NEW person.

The assembly line workers have been cut drastically since computer controlled machines were invented. l believe GM has only a 5th of the labor force that they had in the late 70s.The reason they are losing money is the upper end(white collar) take a look at the salaries these guys get paid. l think 12 million a year is a lot. how about you?Hence l do not support the bail out bill at all.

It is too much considering that they most likely are high school dropouts or at the most have graduated from high school.

I've heard $25 and up. That is quite a bit of money for someone who tests switches and tightens bolts.

They should be getting $12-$15 IMO
