It is a Jimmy blower. They are everywhere.

It is just a standard blower but do you realize the modifications you will need to make to get this on a Iroc. The engine also needs torn down and beefed up to handle the boost. It looks cool but it is impractical' It might not even be street legal due to visibility. Good luck because you're going to need it. Plus about $10000.

That looks like an 8-71 roots blower. You can get 142, 6-71, & 8-71 blowers all over the place. Kits start at about $2300 for the 6-71 (check summit racing & jegs out)

Now like that other guy said.. You Know this is not just a bolt on to a stock engine mod right?

Everything must be upgraded to run a roos blower or u will low ur engine up in less than a 100 miles after install.

You will need forged low compression (7.5 to 7.8:1) pistons, better than stock rods, ARP rod bolts, ARP main bolts (studs r better), Forged crankshaft (some guys also gets ''blower'' cranks where the snout that timing chain, pulley & blower cog belt pulley fits on is larger than std. size cause it is a common prob to break the snout off with a roots blower)

stainless valves (blowers makes alot of heat & can melt std valves)

Cam will need to be changed to take advantage of the boost, now valve springs will need to be changed to handle new cam.

Stock heads becomes a bottle neck & blocks off air flow.

Fuel system MUST be upgraded. 1/2'' dia fuel line from tank foward, fuel pump that can move about 140 GPH.

Stock ign system wo not keep up with the forced air & flame on plugs will blow out so a good small cap dizzy (large cap dizzy wont fit behind blower)

MSD or other CD ign box needed.

Now the exhaust, stock exhaust will cause exhaust to back up into heads, intake/blower, so u will need headers with 1-3/4'' tubes & u will need dual 3'' pipes or single 4'' system

Now once all thats took care of, the rest of car must be prepped for that kinda massive torque gain.

Your stock transmission WILL NOT LIVE behind that engine. Look into getting a th-400 race built

The stock 7 5/8'' rear end is a joke. l broke 2 alreay on my 1988 camaro with a N/A 355 running just 11 is in the 1/4 mile. You will need an aftermarket ford 9'' rear ($2000 or more)

Do not forget the third gen has a weak chassis & even stock engines tends to twist/flex the unibody & suspension parts. So sub frame connectors r a must & really aftermarket lower controll arms, torque arm & panhard rod needs to be put on
