Lately, when l start my car, there is a slight metallic whistling sound that lingers until the engine warms up. I've noticed that it is growing in longevity. l had to fill the reservoir two weeks ago with antifreeze and the reservoir is already approaching the ''add'' mark.

l would suspect its your alternator.. Not a big deal.. Mine buzzes pretty loud in the morning after a night in the frigged cold.. If it is leaking coolant that fast l would expect to see a puddle under your car? If you do not see a puddle run your fingers around the bearing on the front of the pump and feel for coolant.. Sometimes that bearing seal leaks. l would add some more and watch carefully to see if it is in fact losing coolant..
