l am almost certain it can be done. You will probably have to customize a new engine cradle. And find an adapter for the tranny bell housing. But l am sure that with enough time and money it can be done. Physically that motor will fit into the car. Just be prepared for a lot of work and money spent.

Yes bro as a matter of fact l helped a friend of mine put a LS1 in a 1988 IROC-Z in then another friend of mine put an LS1 into a Lancer Evo MR shit bro ive seen a 1989 honda CRX with a Viper SRT V10 Engine in it the car had to obviously had to have the engine bay expanded completely new chassis suspension and some complicated welding done there is also a guy that was on streetfire net that put a Chevy 572ci Crate Engine into a 1993 Chevy Astro van

on the other hand.why the hell would anyone put an LS1 in an EVO? that is just fucked up. replace a 2 liter i-4 with a 6 liter v-8? wreck the AWD.although they prolly replaced the awd with rwd.
