l was told it may be cheaper/easier to just buy a whole new engine, l am considering but there are also the factors that I will have to have it shipped to Southeast Alaska. I've already put quite a bit of money into this car which includes a new transmission and just recently a new set of low profile rim is due to one of the old ones being cracked. l just wanna get the car fixed and sold as quickly as possible which may include the possiblility of selling it as is. PLEASE HELP!

Either go for a used engine or check jasperengines.com for a re-manufactured engine. Jasper may have a warehouse in Alaska. After seeing what your cost is for parts and labor, then you can make your decision.

Get a re manufactured motor and be done with it, that is your best/easiest option.
