does any one have comments on a 2005 chev malibu

Very reliable car. Need work in the looks department

My Aunt has one now 2 years, loves it.
It has the 3800 engine like my Lucerne, a good one!

l work for gm, l know first hand all about the 2005-2007 z body malibu and malibu maxx. if it were me l would do all l could to get an 08. They are much nicer and are better built. the 05 model has steering and suspension concerns that will live with the car till it dies. The electrical system can be expensive to fix if there is a problem

Its a good car. It had 2 engine choices a 4 cylinder and a 3.5 v-6 which is the one you want. The v6 gives good power with great gas mileage. We did not see many problems with them. l would say if you get a great deal on one buy it.
