wanna turnover l was think l flooded it so l took out the spark plugs and then saw they where a lil messed up so l got new ones and then it sound like it was getting gas but then cut off the batter seems fine and there is 1/2 tank of gas in it anyone know what this sounds like befor this l had a prob with the shifter it did not wanna lock into drive but it started to work fine someone plz help if u can

Well l had a Camaro also,it ate starters like l had the $ to buy new ones.When it got hot it would not turn the engine.If it is spinning engine then it is not the starter,the 79 is either the 350 or 305ci.Could be the fuel pump,i have a million books feel free to mail me and l will see,and will try to resolve this.
