Where is the fuel filter in Chevy s10 1987 fuel injected, l could not find it under the truck itself, where is it under the hood? l think the truck is fuel injected, carburetor is in the middle of the air filter.

bolt to the inside of the frame rail where it runs under the driver door area. you have to get under the truck ans look at the inside of the frame rail to see it .. ir ia silver cylinder about 3 1/3 inches long the fuel lines bolt to each side ..ans the filter its self is bolted to the frame rail. with ether a 10mm or 13mm bolt . if remember right the lines are 15mm and 17mm where you hold the filter to undo the lines .
