what color did you prefer

My son had a new 96 SS and later traded (with 110,000 miles) for a new extended 2003 Trailblazer(still have with 80,000 miles). During this time, l felt that this car was one of the better American cars on the market. All service maintenance was done through the Chevy dealership (no major repairs needed) or my shop. Our color of choice was black cherry.

l loved my old buddy Cindy is SS it was in black with gray leather and floor shift. Nice car really it was a 96. Thanks for lettin me brag on it a real pleasant memory.

l actually have a 96 SS in black. its an awesome car, pretty reliable, pretty good on gas, and a real head turner. plus it moves when you want it to, and the LT1 under the hood responds to mods really well. you can usually find them decently cheap too, depending on mileage. my impalas stock motor lasted up to 300,000 + miles, even with a previous owner who beat on it all the time.

those lt1s are sick. keep it black with stock rims and throw borlas on it.

What a waste.should have dropped that motor in an S-10, called it the Hurricane, and then maybe the Ford Lightning would not be EVERYWHERE!
