l know the 1994 camaro has a unibody frame, but l went into a ditch backward and bent the frame right behind the bumper.When l hit, my whole back end went at least two inches forward and the frame is warped.How much would the repair cost be if l decide to get it fixed. The car is totaled.

More than the car is worth. If it is that bad, l do not believe it is repairable. You'd have to have new frame welded in. Pretty expensive. At least 2k.

Too much trouble and too much money - you could probably buy another Camaro for the cost to repair it. Your best bet would be to part it out.

You would be surprised what a good body shop can do to a thumped uni body camaro.Ive seen tons of camaros that were thumped hard and in a full day on a frame rack with a pro body man can straighten them like new.If your camaro is in good shape and its been a good car please have a pro inspect the damage.These pros can do great jobs on uni body cars.Good news is with body shops needing work you can get a good price for there labor cost.Best of luck with your camaro.

For the '94, u will likely find that its not worth the cost. However, as the previous post said, u may want a body-guy stop over & look at ur damage, to see if its worth the cost to salvage.

If it is beyond salvage, do not get rid of it just yet - u can very likely find a 93-95 Camaro in need of an engine/drivetrain - possibly on ebay. You will be able to swap in ur powertrain, & other bits. Also worth noting is that ur interior is a good donor candidate if u should find a car that is got a solid body but a ratted out interior & engine.

l would probably say its going to be more than 2k, once u take into account the other sundry bits that may have been damaged (i.e., the gas tank, trunk assembly, axle, & entire rear suspension. The tweak on the body is likely to be up to the firewall in terms of trying to get that body back square, & even if that is successful, u may be dealing with stuff u did not know was tweaked (such as door alignment, & even the front k-member).

no car is ever totaled. the insureince and other people say totaled when the damage costs is more than the car is worth. you can fix it but you would be better off gettin a new 1
