l have a 1980 chevy luv and there is a rod knocking in it. l want a bigger motor anyways but l dont know what would fit without spending a whole lot of money please help.

A friend of mine had a Chevy Luv with a Chevy 350 V8 in it. It was a very tight fit and it required an aftermarket radiator to keep it cool. l have seen several with Chevy and Buick V6 engines. A much better fit. There used to be several kits to to swap these but with the popularity of the S-10 these kits are becoming harder to find.
