my dad has a 2001 chevy silverado and it will not start warm. Any ideas on how to fix it? it starts fine cold, its just warm

Tell him to get the starter checked out, it sounds like it is getting
too hot some how or ready to go out.
Auto Zone will check them out free, and they may have a idea what it
might be if it is not the starter.
They are a big help for me. Try and get a person that knows what they are talking about.
NO, offense, but some time they get young kids in there that do not know the first thing about cars..

l need more symptoms, but l will mention the timing could be too advanced.
Especially if the engine seems to jerk and hang up when trying to start warm.
