l am thinking about a 2004 chevy colorado (2.8 L5 speed)crew cab.I am just wondering how reliable these things are, how the resale is, how expensive to fix, problematic pieces?Anyways any information helps, thanks guys.

Very reliable till you wreck it. Chevy built these on the cheep, l hear that they are not very comfortable on long hauls. Other than that, the suspension is very rough on the body ( yours ).

http://townhall-talk.edmunds.com/direct/view/.ef0df37 This is a good forum to read about the good & bad things on the chevy colorado.The colorado was a good idea that never really came to life as Chevy is midsized truck.The ride is very poor for a truck its size.The truck bed is useless for most hauling & tons of electrical & engine type problems.If chevy spent more time the colorado it could have been a success story.As of now the colorado is not worth the money with better built midsized trucks on the market.Honest opinion of a service tech that has spent 20 years in a chevy dealership.Best of luck.
