I've been looking at some '06 and '07 chevy malibu is and impala's. Can anyone who has owned either of these cars tell me if they liked them or not and some info on them like gas mileage and performance or any major problems. Please mention the type of engine yours had too.

Both good cars. Stay away from the Malibu though. It has electric power steering and GM has not worked all the bugs out yet. Very expensive to repair once the car is out of warranty.
