How hard is it to replace a starter on a 1998 chevy malibu..

is it that hard ..it does not look it ..and someone told me to get another car.i dont think they know wut there talkin about and does anyone have some pointers..thanks

it shouldnt be that hard to replace the starter

remove battery cable jack up car slide under remove two or three bolts let the start down some or twist it a round so you can get wires off and thats about it some times you might have to remove something out of way but most cases its fairly easy job.. and first are you sure its the starter and not a dirty battery cable or leak battery or loose belt
