Now here is my question,
What are headers? What do they do? And is Edelbrock good?

Do you think l got a good deal? The KBB is $8000, not including all the extras, l bought the truck a week ago for $4500

The headers are the round pipes that come off the engine and collect the exhaust to go out the pipe. Edelbrock is a brand name. They are an ok exhaust manifold. They give the engine a very cool cackling sound.
As for the price It sounds to me that you did quite well.

edelbrock headers are an aftermarket part of your exhaust that bolts right on to the engine, you can gain a more horsepower with these and they are are a very easy bolt on application and edelbrock is a very good brand. also l think you got a great deal for that considering its a 99. hope that helps some
