I am looking to buy a 2001 chevy blazer 4 door...loaded with everything for an '01 (power windows/ locks, sun-roof, on-star, 4x4, tow package). l was just wondering if anyone has a blazer how they like, or dislike it.

Those blazers r good vehicles if u maintain them. They r hard on batteries & fuel pumps. If u make sure it has a good battery in it & keep the fuel gage above a quarter tank it will fix those issues. The other thing that goes bad all the time on them is the ball joints on the front. You can buy good ones from almost any parts store & fix that pretty cheap.

Make sure to change the oil when its needed & service the transmission at regular intervals & it could last u over 350,000 miles.

Yeah, l have a 96 Blazer with over 216,000 miles on it. It is a sweet car. Original tranny. the engine runs great. l love my Blazer. However, it is true about the ball joints. GM did a horrible job on those. l do not think that u will have much trouble with them unless u r doing off-roading stuff. l do not really go off-roading hard-core, but l have been on some dirt roads with lots of bumps. Just bumps will wear those things out. I've replaced the joints on my Blazer 3 times. Albeit, l have life-time warranties on them so it is just a time issue, no $$.
