You need to check your throttle body if its fuel injected or carburetor if its not. You can set your idle by adjusting the Rpm through it or check if your distributor cap is loose. Sometimes adjusting it helps. If you do not know how to check l would recommend taking it to a mechanic to fix. It should not cost much if its something small like this.
