best cam for 327 30 over

l cant tell you exactly which cam to get get, but I'd go with something from summit racing. Maybe a Solid Roller Cam will do the trick.

Depends on engine. early or late 60's? 62-64cc heads? 8.5-10.5 compression? You want to race or drive it on the street? Cam website such as comp cams will give you a guide on what to choose depending on your engine specs. Middle of the road is somewhere between 270 and 280. Be aware that solid cams require adjusting. Hydraulic is less maintenence.

For daily driving , solid or hydraulic valves you cant go wrong with the Sealed Power # 1003 with 400 lift and 400 duration it will provide a mild lope at idle but run out smooth, this cam was used in lots of class A motor homes and is often referred to as an RV cam . Good Luck
