Ok my ex bf was gonna do a tune up on my car. Its a 01 Chevy cavalier. He told me to get Champion (they were copper). Then l talked to my uncle who is a really good mechanic (he was busy or HE would have done tune up) and he said AC Delco and the car calls for platinum. Told my bf l wanted to go with AC Delco and he got all pissed off cause l did not take his recommendation and would not do tune up. Should l have just used the Champion copper (ex said he was trying to save me some money but like my uncle says its best to spend money and do it right first time). What would have prob happened if l went ahead with the Champion copper?

#2. Any auto parts store will tell you GM recommends AC-Delco as original equipment. Platinum is a most of the time a better plug to go with then the basics.

Absolutely use the AC/Delco. To tell the true value, get a price of a set of AC/Delcos, and the price for 3 sets of Champion is because the life of the AC is is the life of 3 sets of Champion's. Which one REALLY costs less??

go with the AC Delco. it is a better plug and the factory one.

Your uncle is right, the Delco plugs are original equipment and the platinum should last you a good 60,000 miles.

l always stick to original equipment. AC Delco rapid fire platinum spark plugs. They are more expensive but are 100,000 mile plugs.

go with ac delco champion is a good plug but not really meant to to many cars.usually if you go to the car parts store like advance auto parts theyll give you there recomendation me l go for the plugs that arent to cheap and not to expensive.
