chevy p/u fuel gage problem. fuel tank full guage wil say low fuel then will reset to full. no lose of power

It could be a bad fuel sending unit in the tank.

common problem. you need to replace the sending unit in the tank. it is easier to remove the bed and change it.

We have three chevy trucks in our family with the same problem a 1998 Tahoe,2002 1500 2wd,2006 colorado crew cab. We have fixed the problem on the 2002 1500p/u 2 times and it does it again. It is the grond for the in tank sending unit. It loses contact and kills your feul gauge and the next bump you hit it comes back. Your best bet is figure how many mile you get to a tank and use your tripometer as a feul gauge. Hope this help's.
