Camaros are known to have a y-pipe extending all the way back to one single muffler, then from the muffler it goes dual...I am wondering if it is possible to make camaro v8 exhaust a true dual exhaust, take out the y-pipe and put some other type of mid-pipe. Has anyone ever done it? If l were to ever get a z28, l would love to do that...get rid of the y and if possible, put some magnaflow magnapack muffs, since they do not seem to take much space
I am mostly familiar with the 93-02 camaro z28s and SS...not really sure what exhaust set up the 3rd generation and below camaros have

not really. they give you very little room and the exhaust is in its own tunnel. the best thing is just get a bigger single exhaust. flows just as good.

yes bro l got a 95'Z28 and l had it completely converted to True Dual Exaust l also did it with a first Generation 1968 Camaro Z28 yes bro it can be dont depends on your budget though it cost me $2500.00 for the setup l did on my 95'Z28 let me tell you bro you will definitely get some noticable acclleration/speed its fucken sweeeeeeeeeeet! ! ! ! ! ! !
