when l start it in the morning it will run for about 3 seconds then die. and after a couple of days it wouldnt stay running at all. and l have a full tank of gas. l changed the fuel filter and it did good for about 3 days and now it is doing it again. it is a 350 and it has not had anything done to it in about a year so it not like l worked on somthing and forgot to hook somthing up.

Sounds like the fuel pump has gone out in it to me.

l had what seems to be the same problem,i took mine to the dealer ans they kept it for weeks & tried several things 1994 chevy silverado they couldnt seem to fix it when l was driving it one day pulled over at a auto fix it shop an old man came out & just looked at it & he listen to what all l said ans he told me to ground the block to the frame with a new ground cable l thought he was nuts but l did & it runs great & has kept running great for over a year now.the old man explained that chevys have always needed to have a real good ground on them to run like they should & the older the car the older the ground so a fresh new ground cable sometimes means alot it worked for mine,..james from alabama
