They have DRL. Daytime running lamps. One of the front bulbs, on each side, burns with one filament, and it is low, lower or less candlepower than the regular night lights.

Not Automatic lights for night time. Just Daytime running lights that only turn on the headlamps. The tail lamps are not illuminated. That is why there is a green headlamp indicator lamp on the dash display to remint you to turn on the rest of the lights at dusk.

No, they have daytime running lamps. l had a 2003 cavalier for four years and it had the same thing. However, my 2007 cobalt LT Coupe has automatic lights and its soooooooo nice!! you never have worry about turning them on or off =)
