the mid level isuzu truck line that was formerly g.m.c's. will be
re- badged to chevy, the large truck line will drop the g.m.c. logo altogether only chevy dealers will have these as g.m.c. dealers fade away with the pontiac,saturn & civilian hummer dealers
the gross corperate mismanagement & waste of this company should not be bailed out on my dime or anyone elses.

l prefer humsters to gerbils anyhow. l hope they shut down if it means the disbandment of another union. Unions have just about finished this country as a manufacturing power.

No l think they will keep going. But l think the United Auto Workers are finally going to have to change their greedy attitude big time if they still want to keep their jobs.

Hard to say, probably not, but the corporate big wigs need to get their heads out of their biggest asset and fast if they want to survive. Ca not really blame UAW (United Auto Workers) for corporate mismanagement, or greed. Contracts are negotiated, not given, therefore they are not the blame for corporate stupidity.

Time will tell, especially at the end of March. Part of GM is deal to get government LOANS (this means they will be paid back for u idiots out there that want no part of them receiving ur tax dollars) was to have a long term viability plan before March 31st or something like that. So come March, if GM can not see to figure out what they will do & sales have not picked up, then they may have to file for bankruptcy.

Now, bankruptcy does not mean they will completely die. It is merely a reorganization period. This is not GM is goal though, since many people would not want to buy from a bankrupt automaker, even though it is a risk that is more beneficial to the economy.
