Can anybody tell me the specifications please, l think this is the Small Block, am l right. Not the new ZR-1 by the way.

why dont you head over to wikipedia.org and check out their page on the corvette. Youll be able to find the year of the car youre looking for and what engine it had

that year came with the small block 350ci LT1 l believe..
might have to dig around to find out, couldve swore l worked on one..
put out about 350bhp
and about 335 ft/lbs of torque

l was gonna say the zr was not available in 1970, the LT 1 was the most common, 350 small block, the LS5 was the big block, basically a stroked 427 to 454, the L88 and the ZL1 were available for race set up but not available to the general public, I've heard rumors of a LS7 but have yet to see one, that would have been your true alumunium head 454

ZR-1 did not exist in 1970..the hot one l think is the L-88..that was rumored available as a marine engine..~900hp..

available with the 350ci and 400ci small block or the 454ci big block codes will give you the exact engine and hp rating usually has a tag on the console also.

Previous post was correct - There is ZL-1 is designated in 1969, which gave it the 427. If there had been one in 1970, it would have likely had the then-enlarged 454 LS7. And no, its not a small block!

The regular-issue small block was the LT1 (not to be confused with the LT-1
