replaced cv shaft now there is a weird noise

replaced cv shaft on my 2002 impala 3.8 the Passenger side and now there is a screeching noise kinda like metal on metal l taught it was the brakes so l replaced them turned out it was not can you help me plz. what could it be also the car pulls to the left sometimes but Very abruptly and the steering wheel is now crooked l think this is alignment but l am not sure about the screeching

Rotors may need refinishing on the wheels or whatever it is they do to them. Sounds like you're going through the same thing l did with my van. Hopefully your AC wo not go out next like mine did.

Make sure you did not bend the backing plate and it is now hitting the rotor. I've accidentally done this a number of times.

Sounds like a problem with the wheel bearing. Consider taking it to a repair shop..
